At the beginning of each workshop we give you a short introduction to color theory. The design techniques are then explained and demonstrated. You don't need any previous design knowledge.
Paints, brushes and painting surfaces are already ready so that you can get started right away. Painting is done on canvas or cardboard that has been primed several times in the format 30 x 30 cm or 30 x 40 cm or 24 x 30.
During the break together, the layers of paint that have already been applied can dry and you can recharge your batteries. Coffee, tea and water as well as all material costs (paints & canvases) are included.
At the end of the workshop (takes about 2.5 hours) you can take your picture home with you.
It is best to take an empty paper bag with you,to safely transport your finished work of art.

One-Day Workshop
How do I bring depth and three dimensionality to my picture? How do I create raised areas or cracks? In this one-day workshop with the help of various structural elements, produce our own structure paste and experiment with different materials. You will learn different ways of applying paint and collage techniques.
Flowers
"Flowers are nature's smile." (Max Reger 1873 – 1916)
With acrylic paints and using various simple techniques, we create a flower painting. We also look at different methods, such as rollers or spatulas, for designing the background. No prior knowledge is required to take part in this workshop.

Would you like to make your first experiences in non-representational, abstract painting? Then this workshop is the right place for you. Using various painting utensils and techniques, we will introduce you step by step to this form of abstract painting. What you need to bring: Enjoy experimenting and be open to coincidences.

"Mixed Media" is made up of "Mixed" and "Medium/Material" and is a particularly imaginative and creative way of designing an image. We use various techniques such as stamping, collaging and stenciling together with acrylic paint and wax crayons
and Paint Marker to create our fantasy landscape.

Would you like to carry out a small art project with your child, grandchild or godchild? Then this workshop is just right for you. No prior knowledge is required to take part. You each paint a canvas, either individually or in coordinated colors. At the beginning of the workshop there is a short introduction to color theory and abstract, non-representational acrylic painting. Then you choose your color palette and can then get started. Gradually, various techniques are shown, which you can try out immediately and combine as you wish. Get involved in this color experiment together and discover the creative side in you!
The costs of the Generations Workshop are for 1 child & 1 adult including one screen each.
