"Painting is like a journey for me. I dive into another world,
where there is always something new to discover.
A journey from which I return with a feeling of happiness."
I was able to make my first experiences with painting 20 years ago, in the preliminary course at the f&f school for art and media design. Experimenting with colors and materials fascinated me even then and hasn't let go of me to this day.
After studying photography and graphics at the f&f school for art and media design in Zurich, painting has always accompanied me alongside my professional work as a graphic designer. In various workshops and further training courses with Swiss artists and at the ZHdK, I was able to get to know new techniques and expand my knowledge.
I have had my own studio for a good 5 years, where I can paint and experiment as I please. I have had the privilege of showing my art in several exhibitions. You can find my pictures on my website: nastasja.org
and on Instagram: artenasja
In the painting studio I would like to pass on my experiences and the joy of creativity in order to give others access to this wonderful activity.

I was born in 1973 quite far away from home, in Neuchâtel. A few months later I was already in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where I spent my childhood and youth. A pencil and paper or a t-shirt and some paint was all I needed to start designing (or: art).
Savannah, USA, 1992 was when my lines and brushstrokes got their own direction and rhythm. Fashion design with an art major was my goal. But shortly before the finish and after the presentation of my first collection in Bolivia in 1994, my goal was no longer the same.
Destiny led me to Santiago de Chile, where I graduated in graphic design in 1997. In the years that followed, I worked in this field in the various directions that this broad career enables: from packaging design, event design, corporate identity to multimedia design. The interest in web and multimedia design finally led me to Barcelona in 2001, where I did a master's degree, which opened up a working world for me that was developing at great speed.
In 2017, after 20 years in the graphics world, I felt the need to get off the screen and get back in touch with people and real colors. So in 2021 I did my Bachelor of Art Education at the ZHdK Zurich.
At the moment I'm working in two studios in Zurich, in Malatelier-Affoltern and in decolor-Wipkingen, I teach at the private school clix - die Schule ( www.clix.ch ) in Stäfa and I'm also part of the Kijumu team ( www.kijumu .ch ).
